Job summary

The 1:1 School Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the nursing process and delivering individualized student care within the school environment, ensuring alignment with physician orders and the policies of Amergis Healthcare and the School District.

Minimum requirements include RN licensure in the practicing state, about 1 year of school nursing experience (pediatric experience preferred), CPR if applicable, TB/health clearance as required, and compliance

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state(s) where practicing.
• One year of school nursing experience, preferred.
• Pediatric experience, preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
