Job summary

Amergis is seeking a 1:1 School LPN/LVN in Kingston, MA to support student health in the school setting. You will monitor students’ health, promote wellness, and coordinate care with school staff and healthcare resources as needed.

The role requires an active LPN/LVN license in Massachusetts, about one year of school nurse or pediatric experience, and CPR where applicable. The position pays $40 per hour for 32.5 hours per week on a contract basis.

Qualifications

• One year of school nurse experience preferred.
• One-year pediatric experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification if applicable.

• Identify and address health concerns in students within the school setting.
• Promote general wellness and provide health education.

The 1:1 School LPN/LVN is responsible for identifying andaddressing health concerns in students within the school setting. This roleincludes promoting general wellness, providing health education, and supportingdisease prevention efforts. The School LPN/LVN monitors the student’s physicalcondition throughout the school day and refers to appropriate healthcareresources when necessary. All care is delivered in accordance with the SchoolLPN/LVN scope of practice and in compliance with applicable state educationcodes.

Minimum Requirements

• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice

• Current LPN/LVN license in the state which services arebeing provided

• One year of school nurse experience, preferred

• One-year pediatric experience, pre

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
