Job summary

ATC & CareBuilders - Parent Account is seeking a patient, dependable 1:1 Behavioral Aide to support a student in a school setting. You will help develop coping skills, support emotional regulation, and enable participation in classroom activities.

Work closely with teachers and school staff to implement behavior plans, use positive reinforcement, and maintain a safe, structured learning environment. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and are committed to confidentiality and following

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with children or adolescents with behavioral challenges preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to complete training in behavior management and crisis prevention.
• Ability to meet school background clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to a student with behavioral, emotional, social, or developmental needs throughout the school day.
• Implement behavioral intervention strategies and follow behavior support plans.
• Assist students with emotional regulation, transitions, and classroom behavior.
• Use positive reinforcement and de-escalation techniques to address challenging behaviors.
• Promote student engagement, independence, social skills, and academic participation.
• Monitor behavior and document incidents and progress.
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student success.
• Help maintain a safe and supportive environment for all.
• Follow school policies, confidentiality, and safety procedures.
• Assist with classroom routines and transitions as needed.
