Job summary

Lancaster-Lebanon Intermediate Unit 13 is seeking a Full-time Personal Care Assistant / 1:1 Paraeducator for a NORTHERN LEBANON education center. The role supports instructional, behavioral and personal care needs per the student’s IEP, under classroom supervision.

Position runs for a school year with possible termination based on student placement. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and PA credential options or alternative credits.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Credential options or equivalent: PA Paraeducator Credential (or complete FREE online program within 6 months of hire date).
• Alternatively, 48 postsecondary credits or an associate degree or higher in any content area.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional, behavioral and personal care support as outlined in the student’s IEP.
• Work under the supervision of the classroom teacher and program supervisor.
• Carry out tasks for a school year with possible termination based on student needs.
