Job summary

Virtua Health in Marlton, New Jersey, is seeking a One-to-One Observer to provide constant patient monitoring and support the healthcare team. You will communicate with patients and families and maintain high professional ethics in a busy clinical setting.

This is a part-time, on-site, per diem day-shift role with competitive hourly pay between $18.00 and $21.33, plus a comprehensive benefits package for eligible colleagues, including medical, dental, vision and more.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of Observer course or equivalent is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provides constant one-to-one observation of assigned patient, ensuring a safe environment.
• Performs restraint care for patients in restraints as needed.
• Identifies changes in patient status and communicates them to the RN.
• Assists in orientation of the healthcare team.
• Other duties as assigned.
