Job summary

Olympia Fields Hospital is seeking a One to One Patient Observer to sit with and observe patients, promoting safety and preventing injuries. You will assist the Registered Nurse with non-nursing tasks under supervision in the Emergency Services department.

The role is per diem with night shifts (7p–7:30a) at Olympia Fields Hospital in Olympia Fields, IL. BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire, and prior healthcare exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Sit with and observe the patient and surrounding environment to promote safety and prevent injuries.
• Assist the Registered Nurse in non-nursing tasks within the scope of training and experience.
