Mount Vernon School District 320 Jefferson Elementary is seeking a Paraeducator for Special Programs 1:1, starting immediately. The role supports high-need students under a cooperating teacher, with duties in classrooms and non-academic settings.

Qualifications include a high school diploma (or higher), coursework or degree equivalency, and comfort with Google apps. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; SEBB benefits apply. Part-time position with hourly pay scales.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate’s degree or two years of college preferred or state performance standards.
• Ability to operate Google applications and basic computer tools.
• Good communication skills, oral and written.
• Bilingual Spanish is preferred and may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Support students with educational needs in class and outside.
• Assist in implementing social and behavioral programs.
• Prepare materials and maintain records of student progress.
• Deliver lessons under supervision and collaborate with staff.
• Supervise students in non-academic settings and manage confidentiality.
