Brightmont Academy is seeking a Part-Time Math & Science Teacher to deliver one-to-one instruction with a flexible schedule. No lesson planning or outside work required, and compensation is $22-23/hour. The role focuses on individual student progress in Math and Science with a supportive, student-centered environment.

We value a Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject, patience, empathy, and the ability to use G-Suite and an LMS. Background checks are required; teaching certification is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Math, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Biology, or related field.
• Patience & empathy; supports diverse learners.
• Proficiency using G-Suite and LMS.
• Ability to provide fingerprints and pass a background check.
• Bonus: teaching certification, advanced degree, or prior one-to-one teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach students one-on-one, tailoring lessons to their unique needs and learning styles.
• Guide students to mastery with a gradual release approach.
• Maintain a positive environment with no lesson planning or outside work.
