Job summary

Brightmont Academy in Illinois is seeking a Part-Time Math & Science Teacher to work about 20 hours weekly at a $24–$30/hour rate, with a flexible schedule.

Teach one student at a time, with no lesson planning or outside work, using G-Suite and LMS. A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject, patience, a heart for teaching, and the ability to pass a background check are required. Previous one-to-one experience is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Math, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Biology, or related field is required.
• Patience and empathy; ability to adapt to each student's needs.
• A genuine passion for teaching and helping students succeed.
• Proficiency using Google Workspace (G-Suite) and a Learning Management System (LMS).
• Fingerprinting and a federal background check are required.
