Job summary

The Baroco Corporation in Hadley, MA, is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for 1:1 clinical support. You will be the primary medical contact, ensuring safety and helping the individual meet daily goals, including during transportation between Turners Falls and Hadley, MA.

Under supervision of the Health Care Supervisor (RN) and Program Director, you will provide direct care, administer medications, document care, and advocate for participant rights, while adhering to

Qualifications

• Massachusetts LPN license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and assist with transfers.
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• 33 paid days off per year (24 PTO + 9 holidays).
• Earn up to 5 additional paid days each hire-anniversary.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 direct care and assist with ADLs, feeding and mobility.
• Perform skills and treatments for consumer health (e.g. G-Tube feedings, tracheotomy care).
• Administer medications and treatments per provider orders.
• Observe and report changes in health status to the RN, supervisors and family/guardian.
• Complete nursing documentation daily, weekly and monthly per regulations.
• Maintain first aid supplies, equipment and medication inventory.
• Advocate for participant rights, safety, health, and independence.
• Practice within LPN scope and seek clarification when needed.
• Participate in trainings, meetings, and ongoing professional development.
