Oxford Public Schools in Oxford, Massachusetts is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Instructional Aide for middle school with passion for student growth and inclusive education.

The role supports licensed staff, assists with instructional activities, and helps implement IEPs and behavior plans across classrooms. Immediate start and full-time schedule available in a special education department.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or evidence of meeting DESE Highly Qualified requirements; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with children required.
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) or similar restraint training may be required.

Responsabilités

• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality per FERPA/IDEA and laws.
• Support academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and functional needs under licensed staff.
• Provide instructional support in small groups, individually, and in class settings.
• Assist in implementing lesson plans, interventions, and assessments.
• Support IEPs, 504 Plans, behavior and health care plans as assigned.
• Collect and document student performance data to guide decisions.
• Implement positive behavior supports and least restrictive assistance.
• Help students develop independence and life skills.
