Job summary

Legacy Concierge is actively seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide dedicated 1:1 non-medical care in a client’s home, typically for an 8–12 hour shift. You will perform ADLs and IADLs, maintain detailed notes, and collaborate with the care team to ensure continuity of care.

The role emphasizes strong communication, reliability, and a client-centered approach in a private 1:1 setting, supporting individuals with varied needs while upholding HIPAA and safety standards.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional caregiving or personal caregiving experience.
• Registered Home Care Aide in good standing (CA only).
• Proof of negative tuberculosis test/chest x-ray.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions with questions when needed.
• Strong communication, documentation, professionalism, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 personalized non-medical care in the client’s home.
• Support activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal care, transfers, bathing, dressing, incontinence care, medication reminders, hand hygiene.
• Support instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs) such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation, companionship.
• Complete daily care notes accurately and promptly using agency systems.
• Communicate with the RN Care Ambassador and Client Care Coordination team about changes in client status or concerns.
