Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires General Paraeducator Certificate with state standards-based training.
• Completion of Fundalmental Course of Study (FCS) training within required timeframes.
• Associate degree or 72 credit hours and/or related experience to demonstrate knowledge and ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one or small-group instruction under teacher direction.
• Assist with self-care activities and daily living supports as needed.
• Supervise students during recess, lunch, and transitions; support bus loading as required.
• Record student progress and maintain communication with staff and parents as assigned.
• Administer basic classroom supports and adapt materials per teacher instructions.
• Maintain attendance and model professional behavior as per district policy.
