Job summary

University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) seeks a 1:1 behavioral support professional to provide assessment, treatment, and crisis intervention for children and adolescents with severe behavioral disorders. The role includes organizing data systems, supporting research activities, and staff training, with a potential backup for patient assessments as needed.

All interventions follow a treatment plan directed by a BCBA or licensed psychologist.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent required.
• Minimum six months experience working with children.
• Licensed as a Registered Behavioral Technician or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Must be proficient in data entry and creating/update graphs.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 assessment, treatment, and crisis intervention for children and adolescents with behavioral disorders.
• Support data collection systems, data analysis, research activities, and staff training.
• May act as backup for patient assessments and program implementation as needed.
• Assist with cleaning, organizing, and preparing case and department materials and systems.
