Job summary

Powerback Pediatrics is hiring a Behavioral Technician (RBT) in Omaha, NE to work 1:1 with children as part of ABA therapy under a BCBA supervisor. A two-week paid training program leads to certification and ongoing supervision.

Eligible candidates need a HS diploma or GED, at least 1 year of work with children, reliable transportation, and completion of 40-hour RBT training, with willingness to obtain RBT certification through BACB.

Qualifications

• 18 years old with a HS Diploma or GED.
• Passion for working with children, especially those with neuro-divergent behaviors.
• Minimum 1 year working with children.
• Reliable transportation.
• Completion of 40 hour Registered Behavior Technician training. If training has not been previously completed, training will be provided by Powerback Pediatrics.
• Willingness to obtain RBT certification through BACB.

Responsibilities

• Works 1:1 with a child in performing ABA therapy, following the guidance in the behavior treatment plan and under the direction of a supervising clinician.
• Ensures all billing is submitted in a timely fashion and the documentation accurately supports the services rendered.
• Updates working availability in the EMR platform and communicates availability changes with their Client Advocate.
• Communicates regularly with Client Advocate and Supervisor as it relates to assigned client(s).
• Complies with and follows the BACB code of ethics as it relates to service delivery and professionalism.
• Performs other related duties as required.
