Qualifications

• Community college or vocational degree in a job-related area.
• RID Certification and QAS Level 3 required.
• Must have valid Driver's License and evidence of insurability.
• Criminal background clearance required.
• FLSA status — Non-Exempt.

Responsibilities

• Provides simultaneous sign language interpretations during the educational day in small group or individual setting.
• Adapts classroom activities and materials to support objectives.
• Provides instruction to students to implement IEP goals.
• Communicates with teachers and professionals to evaluate progress and implement IEP objectives.
• Maintains student daily logs and hourly activity records.
• Responds to emergency situations to ensure safety.
• Remains with student to ensure safety and de-escalate situations.
