Job summary

Ocean Psychological Services in Livermore, California, is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 ABA therapy under supervision. You will implement individualized treatment plans, collect data, and participate in team meetings and professional development.

The role emphasizes collaboration, growth, and positive outcomes. The ideal candidate has at least a high school diploma or GED, with RBT certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (preferred).
• Prior experience or strong understanding of ABA principles and techniques (preferred).
• Strong data collection, time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively and respectfully with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Must be able to provide a minimum of 15 hours of weekly availability between 3:00 PM 8:00 PM (with flexibility to support weekend shifts if needed).

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy based on individualized client goals and treatment plans.
• Collect, document, and analyze data during sessions to monitor client progress and guide treatment decisions.
• Attend client team meetings, mandatory quarterly staff meetings, and professional development workshops.
• Create and utilize instructional materials to support therapy goals.
• Facilitate individual and small group social skills training sessions when appropriate.
• Maintain timely communication, including checking and responding to company emails on business days.
