Job summary

Ocean Psychological Services is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 ABA therapy under supervision in Hayward, California. The role focuses on implementing individualized treatment plans and contributing to client growth within a collaborative team.

You will work closely with a supervising BCBA, participate in professional development, and support a diverse client base while maintaining accurate data and progress notes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active RBT certification preferred.
• Prior experience or understanding of ABA principles preferred.
• Strong data collection, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with diverse backgrounds.
• Minimum 15 hours of weekly availability between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM with weekend flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct ABA therapy based on individualized goals and treatment plans.
• Collect, document, and analyze data to monitor progress and guide decisions.
• Attend client team meetings, quarterly staff meetings, and professional development workshops.
• Create and utilize instructional materials to support therapy goals.
• Facilitate individual and small group social skills sessions when appropriate.
• Maintain timely communication, including checking emails on business days.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
