Job summary

Maritime Academy Charter School Elementary/Middle School in Philadelphia, PA seeks a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work one-to-one with students who have special educational needs. This Full-Time/10-Month/Hourly position requires regular and predictable attendance and reports to the Director of Specialized Services.

The RBT will implement ABA-based interventions, support communication and social skills, track progress, and collaborate with families and the administrative team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• RBT certification preferred and experience with ABA.
• Clearances: FBI, PA Criminal, and PA Child Abuse.

Responsibilities

• Support communication, social, behavioral, and daily skill development.
• Follow treatment and behavior intervention plans.
• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to students in a supportive environment.
• Motivate and encourage students with positive reinforcement.
• Implement positive behavior systems and restorative practices.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Accurately track and document student progress.
• Collaborate with families and administrative team.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisors.
