Job summary

Golden Steps ABA, LLC is seeking a dedicated RBT to join our client-centered team. You will conduct 1:1 ABA therapy sessions with children and young adults, implement behavior plans, and collaborate with a BCBA to deliver high-quality care in home or community settings.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience as an ABA therapist or 1 year working with children with disabilities/autism preferred but not required.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication
• Willing to have a background check.
• Must have a reliable car and driver’s license for commuting to the home of clients
• Must possess a High School Degree
• Experience in roles like nanny, teacher, paraprofessional can help transition into RBT role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 ABA therapy sessions with early learners and young adults with autism in home or community settings.
• Implement behavioral interventions and individualized treatment plans for ages 2–21.
• Participate in BCBA trainings, team meetings, client observations and parent training as needed.
• Maintain open communication with BCBA and RBT team members regarding delivery of treatment.
• Receive supervision from BCBA at a minimum of 10% of services provided.
• Maintain professional boundaries around child patients and families as per BACB.
• Enter data and trials daily for each pediatric patient and program.
• Remain available for supervision sessions, phone conferences, and team meetings.
