Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a maintenance-focused technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain crushers, screens, and conveyors across field and plant environments. You will perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and component changes to maximize uptime while following MSHA and company safety standards.

Collaborate with operations and engineering teams, interpret manuals and drawings, and travel as needed to support projects.

Qualifications

• Proven welding and fabrication experience, including cutting, fitting, welding, and repairing heavy equipment and structural components.
• Strong capability in diagnosing and repairing mechanical systems, including crushers and material handling equipment.
• Proficiency with welding, cutting, and use of hand, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools.
• Ability to interpret manuals, schematics, and technical drawings to complete work effectively.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate, train others, and build working relationships.

What Are We Looking For

Proven welding and fabrication experience, including cutting, fitting, welding, and repairing heavy equipment and structural components.

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check

Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
