Alakaʻi Services and Poe'hana Group, Inc. is hiring for a role focused on mission-critical logistics and training documentation development. This position requires a solid understanding of operational systems and the creation of instructional materials that meet Government standards.
The ideal candidate will possess 3-10 years of relevant experience, strong technical writing skills, and the ability to work in diverse operational environments both CONUS and OCONUS.
The purpose of this position is to support mission‑critical logistics, sustainment, operational, facilities, training, and mission‑enabling activities in support of U.S. Government and Department of Defense objectives throughout the Indo‑Pacific region. Personnel in this role contribute to the planning, coordination, execution, and sustainment of complex operations in dynamic and geographically dispersed environments. The position supports operational readiness, resource integration, mission effectiveness, and stakeholder collaboration while ensuring compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and security requirements. Duties are performed in support of contingency, expeditionary, and steady‑state operations and may require coordination with Government personnel, mission partners, and cross‑functional teams to achieve program objectives.
This role develops and maintains training documentation, manuals, and instructional materials to support operational systems, platforms, and mission training activities. Translates technical information into clear, structured content suitable for classroom, on‑the‑job, and distance learning environments. Coordinates with subject matter experts and operational personnel to capture system functionality, procedures, and mission‑specific considerations. Edits, formats, and standardizes documentation to meet Government requirements, including publication and distribution standards. Supports development of training products for demonstrations, exercises, and operational systems training, ensuring accuracy and usability. Produces and manages documentation repositories to ensure materials are accessible, current, and aligned with mission and stakeholder needs.
