Qualifications

  • Experience supporting government or DoD communications is a plus.

Job description

Job Purpose

The purpose of this position is to support mission-critical logistics, sustainment, operational, facilities, training, and mission-enabling activities in support of U.S. Government and Department of Defense objectives throughout the Indo-Pacific region. Personnel in this role contribute to the planning, coordination, execution, and sustainment of complex operations in dynamic and geographically dispersed environments. The position supports operational readiness, resource integration, mission effectiveness, and stakeholder collaboration while ensuring compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and security requirements. Duties are performed in support of contingency, expeditionary, and steady-state operations and may require coordination with Government personnel, mission partners, and cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives.

Position Overview/Functional Role

This role develops and implements communication strategies to support organizational goals and initiatives. Creates, edits, and distributes content across various platforms, including digital, print, and social media channels. Monitors and analyzes communication metrics to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Coordinates with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and branding. Manages communication tools and systems to streamline processes and enhance outreach efforts. Identifies and resolves communication challenges to maintain clarity and alignment across audiences. Researches and applies industry trends and best practices to optimize communication strategies. Ensures compliance with organizational standards, policies, and regulatory requirements in all communication activities.

Skill Level Requirements – Journeyman
  • 3-10 years experience
  • Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments.
  • Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
  • Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems. Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.
