Alakaʻi Services and Poe'hana Group, Inc. in Hawaii seeks a Journeyman logistics professional to support mission-critical operations across CONUS and OCONUS sites, ensuring readiness and coordination of transport assets and resources.
You will track vehicle and personnel readiness, respond to emergent needs, and deploy resources based on mission requirements while maintaining documentation of mission support activities.
The purpose of this position is to support mission-critical logistics, sustainment, operational, facilities, training, and mission-enabling activities in support of U.S. Government and Department of Defense objectives throughout the Indo-Pacific region. Personnel in this role contribute to the planning, coordination, execution, and sustainment of complex operations in dynamic and geographically dispersed environments. The position supports operational readiness, resource integration, mission effectiveness, and stakeholder collaboration while ensuring compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and security requirements. Duties are performed in support of contingency, expeditionary, and steady-state operations and may require coordination with Government personnel, mission partners, and cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives.
This role maintains standby ancillary air, ground, and maritime capabilities supporting unanticipated mission requirements. Coordinates availability of transport assets and supporting resources. Tracks readiness of vehicles and personnel supporting ad hoc missions. Supports rapid response to emergent operational needs. Coordinates deployment of resources based on mission requirements. Resolves issues impacting availability of support assets. Maintains documentation of mission support activities. Ensures continuity of support for dynamic operations.
