Job summary

ARaymond Türkiye seeks a Maintenance Engineer to join our automotive manufacturing facility in Gebze. You will oversee corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance for production machines, diagnose failures, and implement robust solutions to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics, at least 3 years in manufacturing, PLC and automation knowledge, and Turkish native with English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in manufacturing industry.
• Experience in industrial maintenance processes and PLC systems.
• Turkish native and English proficient.

Responsibilities

• Follow up corrective, planned, predictive, and preventive maintenance activities for production machines and equipment.
• Ensure safe, continuous operation of production machines; respond to breakdowns.
• Diagnose failures in electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems; implement permanent solutions.
• Carry out fault analysis on PLC and automation systems; know 3-axis and 5-axis robot programming.
• Plan maintenance for building equipment, machinery, and fixtures with supplier instructions; keep records updated.
• Coordinate commissioning of injection molding and assembly machines with relevant teams.
• Maintain maintenance reports; monitor downtime and KPIs (MTTR, MTBF); prepare reports.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and other departments for continuous improvement.

Since beginning its journey in Türkiye in 2005, ARaymond Türkiye has been operating in Gebze, Kocaeli, serving as an important solution partner for OEM and Tier suppliers in the automotive industry.We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Role and responsibilities

• Follow up on corrective, planned, predictive, and preventive maintenance activities for production machines and equipment in our automotive manufacturing facility.
• Ensure the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of production machines and respond promptly to breakdowns.
• Diagnose failures in electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and implement permanent solutions.
• Perform fault analysis on PLC and automation systems and carry out the necessary adjustments and interventions; have knowledge of 3-axis and 5-axis robot programming.
• Plan maintenance activities for building equipment, machinery, assembly machines, fixtures, and other equipment in accordance with supplier instructions and maintain up-to-date records.
• Plan the commissioning processes of injection molding machines, assembly machines, and utility systems, while working in coordination with relevant teams.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records and reports, monitor machine downtime and maintenance KPIs (MTTR, MTBF), and prepare reports.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and other relevant departments to participate in continuous improvement activities aimed at increasing machine efficiency.
• Identify and analyze critical spare part requirements, conduct risk assessments, and support inventory tracking activities.
• Collect technical procurement quotations related to maintenance activities, prepare the necessary documentation, follow up on processes, and provide recommendations.
• Identify areas for improvement within maintenance processes, inform the Maintenance Manager, and provide improvement recommendations. Plan and follow up on activities performed by external suppliers.
• Carry out maintenance activities in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations.

Education and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of SAP PM.
• Knowledge and experience in TPM and 5S applications.
• Experience in industrial maintenance processes and knowledge of PLC systems.
• Experience in ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of production machinery.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the manufacturing industry; experience in plastic injection molding is considered an asset.
• Good command of English.
• Native Turkish proficiency and a valid work permit for Turkey are required.
• No travel restrictions.
• Residing in or able to relocate to the Gebze, Kocaeli region.
