Job summary

Avolta is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor for İstanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport to supervise daily warehouse operations, from goods receipt to dispatch, while ensuring safety, compliance, and inventory integrity.

You will lead warehouse teams, optimize stock accuracy, and coordinate with stores and logistics partners to ensure seamless product flow and regulatory adherence. Fluency in English and strong SAP/WMS skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory management, or a similar operational environment.
• Proven experience in team leadership and people management.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control processes, and customs-controlled environments.
• Demonstrated leadership, planning, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Results-oriented mindset with the ability to make decisions and resolve operational challenges effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Preferably good command of written and spoken English.
• Advanced SAP knowledge with hands-on experience in transaction processing, reporting, and data management across relevant modules.
• Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory management tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including goods receiving, storage, picking, replenishment, and dispatch activities.
• Lead, coach, and support warehouse team by allocating workloads, monitoring performance, and fostering continuous development.
• Ensure inventory accuracy, product traceability, and effective stock rotation through FIFO and inventory control best practices.
• Coordinate and oversee timely and accurate distribution of products to stores, warehouses, and operational locations.
• Ensure full compliance with customs regulations, airport requirements, OH&S standards, and company policies.
• Monitor shipment documentation, warehouse records, and inventory transactions to ensure operational accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Lead inventory counts, stock reconciliations, customs inspections, and audit-related activities.
• Manage processes related to damaged, missing, or obsolete inventory and ensure corrective actions.
• Coordinate activities between Warehouse, Customs Operations, and Supply Chain teams to ensure uninterrupted product flow.
• Monitor warehouse equipment and assets, ensuring maintenance and servicing is timely.
• Promote a safe, disciplined, and high-performing working environment and drive employee engagement.

We are looking for an experienced candidate to join our team as a Warehouse Supervisor. This position is based at İstanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

To supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, ensuring that all processes from goods receipt to dispatch are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with customs regulations, company policies, and operational standards. This role is responsible for leading warehouse teams, maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing operational performance, and ensuring the seamless flow of products between warehouses, stores, and operational locations.
