Job summary

Avolta is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor at İstanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport to supervise daily operations from goods receipt to dispatch. You will lead and develop the warehouse team, ensure inventory accuracy, and maintain compliance with customs and safety standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in logistics or a related field, with at least 3 years in warehousing, strong leadership, and hands-on SAP/WMS experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory management, or similar.
• Proven experience in team leadership and people management.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control processes, and customs‑controlled environments.
• Demonstrated leadership, planning, organizational, and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Results‑driven mindset with the ability to make decisions and resolve operational challenges.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Preferably good command of written and spoken English.
• Advanced SAP knowledge with hands‑on experience in transaction processing, reporting, and data management across relevant modules.
• Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory management tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including goods receiving, storage, picking, replenishment, and dispatch activities.
• Lead, coach, and support warehouse team by allocating workloads, monitoring performance, and fostering continuous development.
• Ensure inventory accuracy, product traceability, and effective stock rotation through FIFO principles and inventory control best practices.
• Coordinate and oversee the timely and accurate distribution of products to stores, warehouses, and operational locations.
• Ensure full compliance with customs regulations, airport requirements, occupational health and safety standards, and company policies.
• Monitor shipment documentation, warehouse records, and inventory transactions to ensure operational accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Lead inventory counts, stock reconciliations, customs inspections, and audit-related activities.
• Manage processes related to damaged, missing, or obsolete inventory and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
• Coordinate operational activities between Warehouse, Customs Operations, and Supply Chain teams to ensure uninterrupted product flow and operational continuity.
• Monitor warehouse equipment and operational assets, ensuring maintenance and servicing activities are carried out in a timely manner.
• Promote a safe, disciplined, and high‑performing working environment while driving employee engagement and team development initiatives.
