Amazon Turkey Perakende Hizmetleri Limited Sirketi is seeking a Vendor Consultant to help shape and deliver the strategy for managing Amazon Vendors. You will interface with internal teams across retail, catalog, inventory, finance, and marketing to optimize vendor performance and the customer experience.

In this role you will build strategic account plans, run regular reviews with vendors, and translate data into actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in English (C1/C2) is preferred.
  • 2+ years in Vendor Management, Sales, or Account Management (B2B a plus).
  • Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Active listening and consultative approach.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with ownership of outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage vendor relationships and champion vendors' needs at Amazon.
  • Build and execute strategic account plans delivering on KPI targets.
  • Collaborate with Retail, Catalog, and other internal teams to optimize vendor performance.
  • Conduct regular weekly/monthly business reviews with vendors and publish action plans.
  • Analyze vendor issues and publish data-driven recommendations for improvements.
  • Provide thought leadership on planning, roadmaps and execution.

About The Role

Account Management- Vendor Consultant

As a Vendor Consultant and part of Selling Partner Engagement and Growth (SPEG), you will have the exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy for managing Amazon Vendors.

SPEG team is looking for a bright, customer centric, driven, and creative candidate to join our team. You will interface internally with leaders from our Retail and Vendor Services teams and will be responsible for all aspects of the vendor’s business with Amazon. You will engage directly with multiple internal teams to optimize the product line for key manufacturers (vendors) on Amazon.com.

You will utilize a wide range of skills and work across major functional areas such as site merchandising, buying, Catalog management, inventory management, finance, operations, and online marketing, to drive the performance of strategic vendor partners at Amazon. In this role you will be focused on the strategic and operational aspects of managing the customer relationships with our vendors.

Responsibilities Include
  • Success will be measured by the performance of your internal teams on input metrics and impact of vendors on creating a great customer experience for buying consumers
  • Partnering with the Retail Category Team and managing the vendor relationship by championing the vendor’s needs at Amazon
  • Build communication channels at all levels, set proper expectations, provide clear status communications, and manage towards a growth plan for the vendors
  • Build and execute on a strategic account plan that delivers on key business opportunities and relevant KPIs for the vendors and Amazon
  • Work with internal Amazon teams/vendors to improve operational aspects of their business in providing a great consumer experience
  • Conduct deep dive analysis on the handled issues for the vendors and publish recommendations and action plans based on data to improve vendor experience
  • Provide thought leadership around planning, roadmaps and execution
  • Establish long term partnerships with key vendor partners for the group of vendors handled
  • Support the launches of new programs, categories and features
  • Conduct regular WBR, MBRs with the vendors highlight business metric performance and building action plans
Key job responsibilities

  • Partnering with Retail Team to manage vendor relationship by championing the vendor’s needs at Amazon;
  • Build strong communication channels at all levels, set proper expectations, provide clear status communications, and manage towards a growth plan for the vendors;
  • Build and execute on a strategic account plan that delivers on key business opportunities and relevant KPIs for the vendors and Amazon;
  • Work with internal Amazon teams/vendors to improve operational aspects of their business in providing a great consumer experience;
  • Conduct deep dive analysis on the handled issues for the vendors and develop recommendations and action plans based on data to improve vendor experience;
  • Conduct regular weekly and monthly business reviews with the vendors, highlighting business metric performance and building action plans;
  • Metric influencing - understand metrics and create realistic forecasts. Take calculated risks, and react quickly with new action plans;
Basic Qualifications
  • Passion for e-commerce with a strong understanding of the industry
  • Proficiency in English (C1/C2 certified, preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in Vendor Management, Sales, Account Management, or Business Development (B2B preferred); exposure to retail buying, planning, marketing, or e-commerce is a plus
  • Proven analytical skills with the ability to manage business by the numbers
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with logical, succinct communication
  • Active listening, consultative, and solutions-oriented approach
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with full ownership of outcomes
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, or experience with Lean or Six Sigma analytical techniques
  • Experience in CX management
