Job summary

International Data is seeking an Event Sponsorship Sales Specialist to join our events sales team. You will drive revenue by booking IDC’s sponsored events, conferences, and round tables, engaging IT vendors from Turkey from inquiry to completion.

You will proactively pursue new business, tailor packages, and close contracts. The role requires Turkish and English fluency, 3+ years in B2B/event sponsorship sales, and strong CRM discipline using Salesforce.

Qualifications

Fluency in Turkish and English, spoken and written.
3+ years in B2B sales or event sponsorship sales.
Excellent phone and cold calling skills.
Outbound sales experience in IT solutions or related field preferred.
CRM discipline; keep opportunities and forecasts up to date in Salesforce daily.
Strong communication, with good written and verbal skills.
Excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability.
Exceptional customer service and sales skills.

Responsibilities

Proactively seeking new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, trade shows, and inquiries; leveraging client database.
Identify potential clients and tailor event packages to their needs.
Prepare customized proposals and negotiate contracts to close sales.
Develop a sales plan and strategy for the market to meet goals and profitability; develop action plans for new logos.
Provide timely, accurate pricing on prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval; strive to maximize margins.
