Job summary

Outpost in Istanbul is seeking a Finance & Operations Manager to own the Turkish entity, ensuring compliance, financial health, and smooth operations. You will manage local accounting, tax filings, banking, and relationships with regulators and advisors, while collaborating with global teams.

You should have strong experience in Turkish tax regimes, e-Fatura/e-Arşiv, and cross-border payments, and be fluent in Turkish with working English for the global team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in accounting and tax compliance in Turkey.
• Deep knowledge of Turkey's tax regime (VAT, withholding, stamp tax, inflation).
• Hands-on with GİB e-Fatura, e-Arşiv, e-Defter and GİB portals.
• SMMM license is advantageous.
• Experience with CBRT payment framework and foreign-exchange rules.

Responsibilities

• Own local statutory accounting, month-end close, and filings.
• Manage VAT, Muhtasar, corporate tax, and stamp tax obligations.
• Oversee relationships with local advisors, auditors, and regulators.
• Coordinate with global ops, finance and commercial teams.
• Oversee local merchant onboarding and banking relationships.
