Job summary

Outpost Technologies, Inc. is expanding its Turkey team with a Finance & Operations Manager in Istanbul. This hands-on role covers local statutory accounting, tax compliance, and day-to-day operations, while collaborating with global finance and commercial teams.

You will lead onboarding, banking relationships and regulatory interactions to support growth in Turkey. You will work cross-functionally with external advisors and Turkish regulators, ensuring VAT, e-Arşiv, e-Fatura, and inflation

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Turkish accounting and tax compliance, fintech/payments preferred.
• Deep knowledge of Turkey's VAT, withholding, stamp tax, and inflation accounting.
• Hands-on with e-Fatura, e-Arşiv, e-Defter and GİB portals.
• SMMM license is advantageous.
• Experience with CBRT payment-services framework and FX rules is advantageous.
• Comfortable working in fast-moving, globally distributed teams.
• Fluent Turkish; working English for global team communication.

Responsibilities

• Own local statutory accounting, bookkeeping, month-end and filings under COA and TFRS, including inflation adjustments.
• Manage GİB e-Fatura/e-Arşiv invoicing and e-Defter ledgers, VAT (KDV) and Muhtasar returns, quarterly corporate tax, and stamp tax on contracts.
• Manage relationships with local advisors, tax advisors and external auditors.
• Monitor regulatory updates (GİB, TCMB, MASAK) and flag implications for Outpost and merchants.
• Support transfer pricing documentation and intercompany compliance with the global finance team.
• Oversee merchant onboarding processes for Turkish transactions with global ops.
• Own local customer relationships for Turkish transactions with global commercial team.
• Manage local banking relationships and cash management, TRY/FX conversion and cross-border remittance under FX rules.
• Liaise with PSPs and acquiring partners in Turkey (iyzico, PayTR) on ops and compliance matters.
• Support commercial operations: contracts, local vendor management, regulatory correspondence.
• Act as primary local contact for regulators, auditors, and banking partners.
