Job summary

Ceffu is seeking an Internal Control Officer to support the Board in Turkey, focusing on monitoring internal processes, controls and compliance to ensure regulatory adherence and operational integrity. The role is critical to risk management and audit functions within the Turkish regulatory framework for crypto-asset service providers.

You will lead testing of control effectiveness, coordinate with the CISO, and drive remediation actions while ensuring independent governance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, information systems, or a related field.
3–5 years in internal control, internal audit, compliance monitoring, operational risk or information systems control.
Familiarity with COSO, the Three Lines Model and risk-based control methodologies.
Professional proficiency in Turkish and English.

Responsibilities

Prepare risk-based internal control plans and report findings to governance bodies.
Perform control activities across custody operations, onboarding, access rights, incident management and recordkeeping.
Test controls under SPK, MASAK, information systems and governance rules for proper implementation.
Assess adequacy of controls addressing operational, financial, compliance, technology and AML/CFT risks.
