Job summary

Akçansa, a leading building materials company, seeks a Finance Executive to manage cash flow, treasury, and trade finance end-to-end. You will oversee Eximbank-related processes and build strong banking relationships, working extensively within SAP.

The role requires strong SAP FI experience, knowledge of banking products, and proficiency in English. Turkish Eximbank exposure and Excel skills are highly valued for month-end closings and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in finance, treasury, or trade finance within import/export-oriented manufacturing companies.
• Strong SAP knowledge, preferably SAP FI.
• In-depth knowledge of banking products including loans, guarantees, LCs, and FX.
• Experience with Turkish Eximbank products (export financing, guarantees, rediscount loans).
• Familiarity with import/export payment methods, IBKB/DAB processes, and export commitment tracking.
• Advanced Excel skills; strong written and spoken English; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor daily cash flow forecasts, bank positions, payment schedules, and collection plans.
• Manage relationships with banks for loans, guarantees, LCs, FX, and other financing products.
• Coordinate Eximbank financing, insurance, guarantees, and export-related funding processes.
• Oversee payment, collection, FX transfers, and documentation for import/export transactions.
• Review banking, payment, accounting, and finance records in SAP; support month-end closing.
• Monitor export proceeds, IBKB/DAB processes, export commitments, and Eximbank obligations.
• Analyze financing costs, banking commissions, and credit limits; report findings to management.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Finance Executive to join our organization, which operates in the manufacturing sector with active import and export operations. You will manage cash flow, treasury, and trade finance activities end-to-end, oversee Eximbank-related processes, and build strong banking relationships, all while working extensively within SAP.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor daily cash flow forecasts, bank positions, payment schedules, and collection plans
• Manage relationships with banks regarding loans, guarantees, letters of credit, foreign exchange transactions, and other financing products
• Coordinate and oversee Eximbank financing, insurance, guarantee, and export-related funding processes
• Manage payment, collection, foreign currency transfer, and documentation processes related to import and export transactions
• Review and control banking, payment, collection, accounting, and finance records within SAP, and collaborate with the accounting team during month-end closing
• Monitor export proceeds, manage IBKB/DAB processes, track export commitments, and ensure compliance with Eximbank and rediscount loan obligations
• Analyze financing costs, banking commissions, and credit limits, and monitor financial and foreign exchange risk, reporting findings to management

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience in finance, treasury, or trade finance roles within import and export-oriented manufacturing companies
• Strong SAP knowledge, preferably with hands-on experience in the SAP FI module
• In-depth knowledge of banking products, including loans, letters of guarantee, letters of credit, foreign exchange transactions, and cash management
• Experience with Turkish Eximbank products, including export financing, guarantee programs, and rediscount loans
• Familiarity with import/export payment methods, foreign trade regulations, IBKB/DAB processes, and export commitment tracking
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; strong command of written and spoken English; knowledge of German is a plus
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with a continuous improvement mindset
