Key Responsibilities

Treasury and Cash-Flow Management

  • Prepare and manage daily, weekly, monthly and long-term cash-flow forecasts.
  • Monitor the company’s daily liquidity position, bank balances, expected collections and upcoming payment obligations.
  • Consolidate cash-flow inputs received from relevant departments and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of forecasts.
  • Identify potential cash shortages or surpluses in advance and present alternative scenarios and recommendations to senior management.
  • Compare forecasted and actual cash flows, analyze variances and determine their underlying causes.
  • Develop short-, medium- and long-term liquidity scenarios in line with the company’s operational and strategic plans.
  • Monitor bank accounts, banking transactions, credit facilities, guarantees and other treasury-related instruments.
  • Coordinate operational relationships with banks and financial institutions.
  • Monitor liquidity, interest-rate and foreign-exchange exposure and provide management with timely assessments where relevant.

Collections and Receivables Management

  • Lead, coach and manage the two-person Collections team, including workload planning, target setting and performance follow-up.
  • Establish daily, weekly and monthly collection targets and closely monitor actual performance.
  • Oversee customer receivables, upcoming due dates, overdue balances and high-risk accounts.
  • Review accounts receivable aging reports and develop clear action plans for overdue and potentially doubtful receivables.
  • Analyze customers’ payment behavior, overdue periods, risk levels and overall collection performance.
  • Ensure proactive and professional communication with customers regarding outstanding balances and payment commitments.
  • Coordinate collection-related actions with Sales, Operations, Accounting, Legal and other relevant teams.
  • Manage payment-plan and debt-restructuring discussions when required and within the company’s approval framework.
  • Ensure that collected amounts are accurately allocated to the correct customer accounts and invoices.
  • Oversee regular customer account reconciliations and the timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Improve the accuracy of collection forecasts and ensure that reliable information is provided for cash-flow planning.
  • Design and monitor team KPIs, including collection achievement, overdue receivables, aging distribution and follow-up effectiveness.

Payments Management

  • Plan and oversee all company payment obligations, including supplier payments, rent, payroll, taxes, social security payments, employee expenses, investments, loan repayments and other liabilities.
  • Ensure that payment requests comply with the company’s approval matrix, policies and internal-control requirements.
  • Prioritize approved payments according to due dates, operational importance and the company’s available cash position.
  • Prepare or oversee daily, weekly and monthly payment plans.
  • Ensure that payment schedules remain fully aligned with cash-flow forecasts.
  • Proactively identify upcoming financial obligations and inform relevant stakeholders of any potential risk or delay.
  • Verify supporting documents, amounts, due dates, bank details and required approvals before payments are processed.
  • Prevent duplicate, incorrect, unauthorized or insufficiently documented payments through effective control mechanisms.
  • Prepare or coordinate bank payment instructions and ensure the completion of required authorization processes.
  • Reconcile completed payments with bank transactions, accounting records and supporting documentation.
  • Evaluate urgent or unplanned payment requests within the framework of liquidity availability and business priorities.

Reporting and Financial Control

  • Provide financial analysis and decision-support reporting for management when required.
  • Work closely with Finance and Accounting teams during month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Establish controls to ensure the accuracy and consistency of bank, collection, payment and customer-account records.
