Job summary

Responsibilities

A. Cash & Liquidity Management

• - Manage the company’s cryptocurrency and fiat cash positions, ensuring optimal liquidity and risk-adjusted allocation across exchanges, wallets, and bank accounts.
• - Forecast short-term and long-term cash and crypto flows in coordination with operations, trading, and finance teams.
• - Execute crypto transactions—including transfers, swaps, and settlements—securely and in compliance with MASAK, SPK, and internal control policies.
• - Maintain strong relationships with exchanges, custodians, banks, and financial partners to optimize transaction efficiency, security, and cost.

B. Crypto Risk Management & Hedging

• - Identify and assess risks related to crypto volatility, counterparty exposure, liquidity constraints, and operational vulnerabilities.
• - Design and implement hedging strategies using derivatives, stablecoins, or fiat instruments to mitigate market volatility.
• - Monitor market developments, ensure accurate accounting of crypto instruments, and maintain segregation of duties to reduce operational risk.
• - Collaborate with compliance and audit teams to ensure that all activities meet MASAK anti-money-laundering standards and SPK requirements.

C. Treasury Operations & Security Controls

• - Oversee daily treasury operations, including wallet management, multisignature approvals, transfers, and reconciliations.
• - Ensure all treasury processes comply with internal controls, MASAK reporting obligations, and SPK audit requirements. Collaborate to maintain robust custody and transaction security protocols, including hot/cold wallet segregation and MFA.
• - Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all crypto treasury operations to ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance.

D. Financing & Capital Management

• - Support fundraising, staking, lending, and liquidity-provisioning initiatives in crypto markets, coordinating closely with legal and finance teams.
• - Manage debt or credit facilities in fiat or stablecoins, ensuring proper structuring, documentation, and compliance with MASAK/SPK standards.
• - Analyze the impact of market volatility, staking rewards, and interest rate changes on treasury performance, proposing optimizations where needed.

E. Reporting & Compliance

• - Prepare accurate and timely treasury reports including balances, exposures, liquidity forecasts, performance summaries, and compliance metrics.
• - Ensure complete documentation of all transactions, wallets, and counterparties for audit traceability.
• - Coordinate with internal auditors, MASAK, SPK, and compliance teams to maintain full adherence to anti-money-laundering and financial regulations.

F. Continuous Improvement & Treasury Technology

• - Evaluate and implement treasury tools, wallet systems, blockchain analytics platforms, and smart contract-based solutions for automation and enhanced risk monitoring.
• - Follow market trends, regulatory developments, and best practices—sharing insights to improve treasury efficiency and compliance posture.
• - Promote automation and process improvement while maintaining strict control and security over digital and fiat assets.

Qualifications

1. Technical & Functional Competencies

• - Advanced knowledge of cryptocurrency market dynamics, exchange structures, on-chain/off-chain transfers, and wallet infrastructures.
• - Expertise in stablecoin management, OTC transactions, market maker relations, and corporate wallet security (MPC, multisig).
• - Strong understanding of currency fluctuations, interest rate risk, liquidity risk, and counterparty risk management.
• - Familiarity with Treasury Management Systems (TMS), fiat payment networks, crypto custody services, and exchange API integrations.
• - Experience developing internal control mechanisms, compliance processes (KYC/AML), financial reporting, and audit procedures.
• - Deep knowledge of MASAK (Anti-Money Laundering Regulations in Türkiye) and SPK (Capital Markets Board) rules relevant to crypto operations.
