Role Description

The German or French Translator is a part-time, on-site role based in Istanbul, Türkiye. This position is responsible for translating written medical and administrative content from Turkish to German or French and from German or French to Turkish, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency with Clinic Center’s communication standards. Day-to-day tasks include translating patient information materials, consent forms as well as interpreting during patient consultations, briefings. The role involves collaborating closely with medical teams and patient coordinators to maintain terminology accuracy and culturally appropriate language. The Translator is expected to manage multiple translation requests, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality of all patient and company information.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Translation and German or French Translation skills, with the ability to work accurately between Turkish and German or French.
• Candidates should possess solid Interpreting skills for in-person between patients and medical staff.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Writing skills for clear, patient-friendly, and professional documents.
• Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, including grammar, terminology consistency, and cultural nuance in German or French.
• Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Translation, Linguistics, German or French Language, or a related field are preferred.
• Professional experience in medical, healthcare, or tourism-related translation is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in Istanbul, manage multiple tasks, and maintain confidentiality and ethical standards is required.
