Job summary

DP World in Istanbul, Türkiye, seeks an Assistant Manager – Operations to lead day-to-day Trade Finance activities and support onboarding, ensuring compliance with internal policies and local regulations. • Support client onboarding, including registration, KYC and AML-related processes, while maintaining appropriate operational controls.
• Process loan transactions, including disbursements and settlements, and prepare client statements and other required documentation.
• Collaborate with Sales, Compliance, Credit, Legal, Product, customers and financial institutions to ensure smooth transaction execution.
• Build relationships with customers, provide operational support and gather feedback to improve client experience.
• Contribute to process improvements, system testing and wider Trade Finance initiatives as required.

Job description

We are looking for an Assistant Manager – Operations to join our growing team in Istanbul, Türkiye.

The role focuses on managing day-to-day Trade Finance activities, supporting clients and the Sales function, and ensuring that transactions are handled in line with internal policies and local regulatory requirements.

Working closely with customers, financial institutions and internal teams including Sales, Compliance, Credit, Legal and Product, the role will contribute to a positive client experience and the continuous improvement of operational processes.

Your Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day Trade Finance operations in line with internal policies, procedures and local regulatory requirements.
• Support client onboarding, including registration, KYC and AML-related processes, while maintaining appropriate operational controls.
• Process loan transactions, including disbursements and settlements, and prepare client statements and other required documentation.
• Work closely with Sales, Compliance, Credit, Legal, Product, customers and financial institutions to ensure smooth and timely transaction execution.
• Build positive and trusted relationships with customers, provide operational support and gather feedback to help improve the client experience.
• Contribute to process improvements, system testing and wider Trade Finance initiatives as required.

Your Profile:

• 5–8 years of experience in Trade Finance or Corporate & Commercial Banking Operations. Experience with Non-Bank Financial Institutions or Trade Finance Funds is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Banking, Engineering or a related field.
• Good understanding of KYC and AML requirements applicable to Trade Finance products.
• Proficiency in Turkish and English, both written and verbal.
• Strong customer focus with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills, proactive approach and ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with customers, financial institutions and cross-functional teams.
