Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation is seeking a Customer Engineer - Thermal (Field Service Specialist) to install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair thermal and cooling systems at customer sites in Ankara and beyond. The role is field-based with domestic and international travel, requiring strong HVAC knowledge and a proactive, safety-focused mindset.

You will diagnose faults, perform measurements, and provide on-site technical support in a 24/7 service environment.

Qualifications

Qualification from a vocational high school, technical college, or university in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, or related field.
Technical knowledge of thermal cooling systems, air conditioning technologies, and associated equipment.
Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical schematics and technical drawings.
Ability to effectively use electrical measuring instruments and technical service tools.
Technical knowledge and field experience in installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
Preferably 3-5 years of field service experience within HVAC, cooling, thermal management, or related industry.
Soldering and welding experience is desirable.
Minimum B2 level English proficiency for understanding technical documentation and communication.
Strong analytical thinking, fault-finding, and problem-solving skills.
Customer-focused with strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to work flexible hours and participate in a 24/7 service organization.
No restrictions on domestic or international travel.
Valid Class B driving licence and ability to drive actively.

Responsibilities

Perform installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of thermal systems.
Complete scheduled maintenance and service activities following procedures and quality standards.
Diagnose faults, perform measurements, and implement technical solutions.
Provide technical support to customers as part of a 24/7 service organization when required.
Carry out service activities timely and ensure customer satisfaction.
Prepare service reports, maintenance forms, and fault records and enter into systems on time.
Provide customers with technical information regarding equipment operation and procedures.
Identify and report technical risks, non-conformities, and improvement opportunities at customer sites.
Perform field activities in line with procedures, quality standards, and OHS requirements.
Travel domestically and internationally as required by business needs.
