Job summary

Ödeal is a fintech scaleup shaping the future of payments. We seek a Technical Product Owner to lead agile teams, conduct market analysis, and translate stakeholder needs into actionable user stories.

You will bridge developers and product teams, participate in UAT, and ensure delivery of innovative financial solutions to merchants and buyers. 6+ years in fintech or similar roles is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, statistics or related fields.
• 6+ years in a similar Product Owner/Lead role, preferably in fintech/payments.
• Strong ability to define user stories and document requirements clearly.
• Experience in IT delivery projects and working with diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of fintech domains and payment systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as Product Owner for the scrum team and bridge between developers and product teams.
• Conduct fintech market analysis and feasibility studies for products and services.
• Assess requests from departments or stakeholders and translate into clear backlog items.
• Oversee UAT and ensure delivered products meet stakeholder needs.
• Collaborate across IT to ensure timely, quality delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.

Your Role:

Our agile product teams are going through exciting changes that involve the design and development of new systems, improving existing systems and working with some of latest technologies available.

We’re looking for a Technical Product Owner that will;

• Conduct fintech market analysis and feasibility for products and services according to market conditions and customer experience,
• Assume the role of "Product Owner" of the scrum team,
• Examine and analyze requests from different departments or stakeholders,
• Acting as a bridge between developers and product teams,
• Take part in UAT test process,
• Ensure that the prepared products and services are delivered to the relevant stakeholders.

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, statistics or related fields,
• At least min. 6 year of experience working on similar role such as Product Owner, Product Lead. Payment system and fintech knowledge is big plus
• Experience in analysis, strong documentation skills and good ability to define user stories,
• A basic understanding of technology languages and applications,
• Experience in managing IT delivery projects,
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization,
• Knowledge of TDD, BDD, DDD and apply minimum one of these software engineering techniques,
• Knowledge of SQL, database design, algorithms, and flow diagrams,
• Ability to test rest and soap services using postman, soapui or similar test tools,
• Have strong knowledge about Jira, SDLC, Agile methodologies,
• Good at analytical thinking, result-oriented, team-oriented, open-minded
