Job summary

Nobel Ilac A.S. is seeking a Cost Accountant to ensure accurate cost accounting, robust financial control, and reliable reporting for our manufacturing operations.

You will support budgeting, cost optimization, and regulatory compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and profitability. The role requires 3+ years in cost accounting within manufacturing, strong Excel skills, and proficiency in SAP FI/CO and MM modules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cost accounting, cost controlling, or financial analysis, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of cost and profitability analysis.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly advanced Excel.
• Good command of SAP FI/CO and MM modules.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly cost accounting closing activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness of manufacturing costs.
• Compare, analyze, and report actual cost data.
• Perform project-based cost calculations.
• Support cost planning, monitoring, control, and process improvement activities.
• Prepare and maintain product cost calculation sheets and supporting documentation for pharmaceutical pricing applications.
• Perform import documentation and ensure accurate recording of import invoices in SAP.
• Ensure data accuracy across cost accounting and financial reporting processes.
• Perform periodic reconciliations with international suppliers and resolve discrepancies.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate cost accounting, effective financial control, and reliable reporting of manufacturing operations while supporting budgeting, cost optimization, and regulatory compliance.

What You'll Be Doing?

• Support monthly cost accounting closing activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness of manufacturing costs,
• Comparing, analyzing, and reporting actual cost data,
• Performing project-based cost calculations,
• Supporting cost planning, monitoring, control, and process improvement activities,
• Prepare and maintain product cost calculation sheets and supporting documentation required for pharmaceutical pricing applications in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements,
• Perform and control import documentation, ensuring accurate and timely recording of import invoices and related expenses in SAP,
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across cost accounting and financial reporting processes,
• Perform periodic account reconciliations with international suppliers, investigate discrepancies, and ensure accurate and timely resolution of outstanding balances.
