Job summary

Karadeniz Holding is seeking a Help Desk Specialist to join the Information Technologies Department at our Kağıthane, Istanbul head office. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in IT-related fields and at least 4 years in IT, including 2+ years in help desk or end-user support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technologies, Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the IT sector.
• At least 2 years of experience in IT help desk, end-user support, and/or L1 technical support.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
• Knowledge of IT inventory and asset management processes.
• Ability to communicate with business units and work well in a team, with high motivation.
• Strong analytical thinking, planning, and task follow-up skills.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and MS Office programs.
• Technical competency to analyze end-user issues within system and network layers.

Responsibilities

• Respond to technical support requests from internal users.
• Provide support via phone, email, and live support channels.
• Analyze and resolve hardware, software, network, and operating system issues.
• Record technical support requests and ensure follow-up.
• Keep the hardware and software inventory up to date.
• Ensure that IT infrastructure and shared areas remain organized and operational.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team.
• Support new system setups, improvement projects, and digital transformation processes.

We are looking for a Help Desk Specialist to join our Information Technologies Department at our Head Office located in Kağıthane, Istanbul.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technologies, Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or related fields,
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the IT sector,
• At least 2 years of experience (preferably) in IT help desk, end-user support, and/or L1 technical support,
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a customer-oriented mindset,
• Knowledge of IT inventory and asset management processes,
• Ability to communicate effectively with business units and work well in a team, with high motivation,
• Strong analytical thinking, planning, and task follow-up skills,
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and MS Office programs,
• Basic knowledge of networking and systems (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, WLAN, VLAN, etc.),
• Technical competency to analyze end-user issues within system and network layers,
• Willingness to take an active role in installation and support operations,
• Passion for technology, with a desire to learn and a solution-oriented approach.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• ITIL or equivalent certification,
• Experience with JIRA, Office 365, ManageEngine, Active Directory, and remote desktop management tools,
• Knowledge or experience in Windows Server, File Server, DNS, and DHCP,
• Experience working with Windows, macOS, and Ubuntu operating systems.
