Job summary

Çalık Enerji in Istanbul is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to manage PO follow-through from award to final delivery on project sites, coordinating with Engineering, QA/QC and external inspectors. The role requires travel for vendor shop visits and a strong command of English.

You will review schedules, identify delays, and drive corrective actions across rotating and static equipment, piping, valves and other components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 3–5 years expediting, procurement or supply chain experience.
• Familiar with incoterms, shipping and customs docs.
• English proficiency; additional language a plus.
• Advanced MS Excel; experience with SAP or comparable ERP.

Responsibilities

• Follow up purchase orders from award through final delivery at project site.
• Review vendor manufacturing schedules; identify slippages and drive corrective action.
• Conduct desk expediting and field expediting; vendor shop visits in Türkiye and abroad.
• Coordinate with Engineering, QA/QC, and inspection agencies on documents and ITPs.
• Prepare expediting status reports and delay escalation notes to Procurement and Project Management.
• Interface with Logistics on packing lists, shipping marks, shipping documents, and readiness for dispatch.
• Support the Procurement team in resolving commercial and technical issues affecting delivery (change orders, drawing approvals, spare parts, missing documentation).
• Maintain accurate PO and delivery data in the company ERP system and expediting trackers.
