Job summary

Honda Türkiye A.Ş. is seeking a qualified engineer to lead part development for press and forming requirements in the chassis and body area.

You will evaluate supplier tooling and manufacturing processes, develop local supplier press capabilities, and ensure manufacturability from prototype to mass production. Responsibilities include analyzing production issues, coordinating prototype to mass production transitions, and leading process improvement and optimization activities to ensure welding

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy & Materials Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in press / sheet metal forming processes and welding processes (MIG/MAG, spot welding, etc.).
• Experience in chassis, body, or metal part production.
• Preferably experienced in localization projects.
• Knowledge of tooling, forming processes, and production methods.
• Strong technical drawing and tolerance reading skills.
• Experience in tooling development.
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA.
• Lean Manufacturing practices.
• Good command of English.
• Active motorcycle riding experience or interest in motorcycles is considered an asset.
