Job summary

Yazaki is seeking a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer for our plant in Akyazı, Sakarya. You will own quality control on assigned production lines, update control plans, and drive root cause analyses for customer complaints with 8D reports.

You will support customer audits, PFMEA studies, and establish inspection criteria, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product and process requirements are met. English and Turkish proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Graduates of relevant engineering faculties.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Customer Quality and/or Process Quality in automotive.
• Advanced written and spoken English & Turkish.
• Strong analytical thinking and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assigned production lines, updating quality control plans.
• Conduct root cause analyses for customer complaints; prepare 8D reports and CAPAs.
• Manage customer communication, support on-site audits, and coordinate audit activities.
• Participate in PFMEA studies and help establish quality standards and inspection criteria.

What will your job be about?

• Responsible for assigned production lines, ensuring quality control plans are updated and quality processes are effectively maintained
• Conduct root cause analyses for customer complaints and internal quality issues; prepare 8D reports and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Manage customer communication, support customer audit preparations, and coordinate audit activities on-site
• Participate in PFMEA studies and support the establishment of quality standards and inspection criteria
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product and process requirements are effectively implemented in production

What will you bring with you?

• Graduates of relevant engineering faculties at universities
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Customer Quality and/or Process Quality within the automotive industry
• Advanced written and spoken English & Turkish
• Good knowledge of quality tools such as 8D, PFMEA, PPAP, and problem-solving methodologies
• Good command of MS Office applications
• Strong analytical thinking and communication skills
• Proactive, result-oriented, and able to work effectively in a dynamic production environment
• Must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to the provinces of Sakarya or Kocaeli
