Job summary

Mubea Türkiye Engineering Office in Istanbul Teknopark seeks a Structural Analysis Engineer to lead stress analyses for aircraft fuselage structures, including static and fatigue/damage tolerance. You will prepare verification dossiers and optimize calculation workflows, collaborating with international teams, including Airbus stakeholders.

The role requires 5+ years in aircraft structural analysis, knowledge of analytical methods and programming, and strong English technical proficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering, or similar.
• Minimum 5 years of aircraft structural analysis experience (fuselage static, fatigue, FDT).
• Interest in composite structures and willingness to develop.
• Knowledge of airworthiness regulations Part 21J/Part 21G.
• Experience in Airbus engineering environment is a plus.
• Proficiency with NASTRAN/Patran, HyperWorks, ISAMI.

Responsibilities

• Carry out stress analysis for aircraft fuselage structures (ATA52/ATA53).
• Create and review stress dossiers for verification and certification.
• Develop and adapt routines for pre/postprocessing of calculation data.
• Support process and procedure improvements within the team.

We are currently seeking a Structural Analysis Engineer to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to advanced aerospace projects, collaborate with international colleagues, and play a key part in shaping the future of engineering excellence at Mubea.

Your Tasks & Responsibilities:

At MUBEA, we collaborate with global leaders like Airbus in the civil aviation industry. We are looking for experienced engineers who can take responsibility for engineering activities and collaborate closely with global teams.

• You carry out analyses relevant to the stress analysis of aircraft fuselage structures (ATA52, ATA53) to validate design solutions/changes, including for example static analyses, fatigue and crack growth calculations, FEM calculations, according to established methods and standards,
• You create and review stress documents for verification and certification, e.g stress dossiers,
• You create and adapt routines for pre- and postprocessing of calculation data,
• You support the optimisation of processes and procedures in your team.

Who Are We Looking For?

• Degree in the field of aerospace or mechanical engineering, or similar,
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in aircraft structural analysis, including fuselage static and/or fatigue and damage tolerance (F&DT) analyses,
• Interest in working on composite structures and willingness to develop further in this field,
• Good understanding of general airworthiness regulations for Part 21J/Part 21G,
• Experience working in Airbus engineering environment is a plus,
• Good knowledge of NASTRAN/PATRAN, HyperWorks and ISAMI is a plus,
• Good knowledge in analytical calculation methods (e.g. Bruhn, HSB, Niu),
• Good knowledge of programming languages (preferably Python, else VBA) ,
• Good command of English, including technical terminology,
• Structured way of working, strong ability to integrate with the existing team in Germany, strong sense of responsibility.
