Job summary

BE & Partners is seeking a Purchasing Manager to lead end-to-end purchasing in the food & beverage sector, focusing on indirect procurement while coordinating with international suppliers and import processes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, strong negotiation skills, and proven experience in multi-category procurement with a commercial mindset and excellent stakeholder management. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Solid experience in purchasing/procurement management, preferably within food, FMCG, hospitality, or related industries.
• Strong experience in indirect procurement across multiple purchasing categories.
• Hands-on experience in direct purchasing and raw material sourcing.
• Proven experience in international purchasing, including working with overseas suppliers and import processes.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, and contract management skills.
• Commercial mindset with a strong focus on cost optimization and operational efficiency.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple suppliers, categories, and priorities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent command of English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage both indirect and direct purchasing activities, with a strong focus on indirect procurement.
• Develop and implement purchasing strategies in line with the company’s operational and business objectives.
• Manage supplier selection, evaluation, negotiation, and contract management processes.
• Drive cost optimization initiatives while ensuring quality, service levels, and supply continuity.
• Manage the procurement of raw materials from international suppliers and oversee related import and cross-border purchasing processes.
• Conduct commercial negotiations with both local and international suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance, lead times, pricing, and market developments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Manage purchasing budgets, reporting, and procurement-related KPIs.
• Continuously improve purchasing processes, policies, and systems.
