Job summary

Orkom Madencilik is seeking an experienced Procurement Leader to manage end-to-end sourcing for mining and construction projects in collaboration with project teams. You will lead equipment and spare parts sourcing, negotiate terms, and build resilient supplier networks to meet budget targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; mechanical or metallurgical/ materials engineering preferred.
• At least 7 years’ experience in procurement, technical sourcing, production, or technical sales within mining, heavy industry, construction, or machinery sectors.
• Experience in strategic procurement, supplier management, cost analysis, and budget monitoring.
• Strong negotiation skills regarding pricing, terms, and delivery conditions.
• Ability to develop alternative suppliers and coordinate cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement processes for mining and construction projects.
• Lead sourcing for equipment and spare parts per technical specs and develop alternate sources.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery conditions with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and optimize supplier networks.
• Identify cost optimization opportunities and implement improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, finance, and operations teams to ensure timely procurement and budget adherence.
• Ensure procurement operations comply with company procedures and project requirements.
• Report procurement activity and performance metrics.
• Coordinate workload and follow-up within the team to ensure efficient procurement.
