Are you a strategic leader with a passion for responsible sourcing? We are seeking a Responsible Sourcing Senior Director to oversee our global sourcing operations and drive the development of innovative initiatives. As Head of Sourcing, you will lead a constantly evolving landscape, making a real impact on our supply chain outcomes in environmental, social and governance.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead and shape the future of global sourcing efforts to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
• Develop and implement cutting-edge sourcing and category management strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives
• Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, and optimize sourcing procedures to increase efficiency.
• Oversee the management of the company's supply portfolio, ensuring transparency of spending and identifying and mitigating risks.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to establish and maintain effective relationships.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate supplier performance, and make recommendations for improvement.
• Provide leadership and guidance to local teams and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Determine the quantity and timing of deliveries, and ensure the timely receipt of goods and services.

As a leader, you will manage the development and talent of direct reports and their teams by forecasting resource needs, recruiting, managing performance, providing training, and budgeting. Additionally, you will work with other managers and supervisors to align staffing with current and future organizational needs.

Requirements & Skills

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in global sourcing and vendor management, with a proven track record of success.
• Perfect verbal and written communication skills in Turkish and English
• Proven track record of successfully leading sourcing activities from China and Turkey for an e-commerce retail company.
• In-depth knowledge of sourcing best practices and industry standards, as well as a deep understanding of market dynamics and their impact on the company's business.
• Strong project management and leadership skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage direct reports effectively.
• Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, comfortable with figures and data analysis.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience with sourcing software and tools.
• Outstanding negotiation abilities.
• A team player with excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking skills.
• A Master's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
