Job summary

Sika Türkiye, a leading specialty chemicals company, is seeking an experienced Procurement Lead for indirect equipment. Based in Istanbul, you will lead sourcing for machinery, production support equipment, tools and services.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years in indirect procurement, proven supplier negotiations, SAP experience, and excellent English. You will manage end-to-end purchasing, optimize total cost of ownership, and ensure timely procurement to prevent production disruptions.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in indirect procurement.
• Experience with equipment, machinery, or CAPEX/OPEX purchasing.
• Ability to review technical specifications with engineering and maintenance teams.
• Strong analytical and negotiation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement for indirect equipment categories, including machinery and warehouse equipment.
• Manage end-to-end purchasing processes from requirements collection to supplier selection and delivery follow-up.
• Evaluate proposals with internal stakeholders and negotiate best total cost of ownership.
• Develop supplier relationships and drive diversification initiatives.
• Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure timely procurement to avoid operational disruptions.
