Job summary

Aygaz A.Ş. in İzmit, Turkey, seeks an experienced procurement professional to lead purchasing activities for engineering and manufacturing support, excluding LPG. The role covers domestic and international sourcing, vendor negotiations, and process optimization within the company.

You will coordinate with production and finance, manage supplier performance, and ensure timely deliveries while upholding cost controls and compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduated from engineering departments and holds an engineering degree.
• Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience in engineering/manufacturing.
• Experience in buying raw materials, machine parts, and services for production.
• Proficient with Excel; SAP experience is required.
• Strong reporting, communication, and planning skills.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all purchasing activities excluding LPG across Aygaz Group.
• Handle end-to-end purchasing: quotations, specs, RFPs, tenders, approvals, orders.
• Prepare contracts, monitor deliveries, and resolve supply issues.
• Review invoices, apply discounts, and coordinate payments with finance.
• Compare equipment specs and contribute to system improvements.
• Ensure purchasing aligns with production and parallel planning.
• Plan supplier activities to improve quality, efficiency, and costs.
